Assistance Needed IDing Luger
Toggle inscription: S/42 with a "G" on the chamber. No safety grip with stock lug present. 9 mm. Grips seems to show a brown color at the bottom but is darker up top. Thumb safety reads: Gesichert. Top of barrel shows a bird w/63 below it. Side of barrel reads: #3902, with a 02 on all parts attached all over. 3 symbols on the side depicting 2 birds w/63 below it and what looks like a square with lines or a rainfall affect coming from the bottom. Magazine reads #3497 with a bird/63 what what looks like a cursive letter "s". Any idea of the year and era of this German Luger. Thanks.

Hi Darryl,
Welcome to the forum. You have a Mauser produced G date (1935). If you can post photos? . Ron

goodwind, welcome to the forum! be careful taking it apart, especially the grips, as they like to chip if they stick on the frame. And it can be a trick putting it back together the first 10 times,
Ed
