I do not think that Bergmann's are very commonly found for sale. I have only seen one up close in my lifetime... it was owned by a college friend whose grandfather had acquired it, probably in wartime...

BTW, How about cropping your avatar just a little closer to the items you are displaying and rotating the photo counter clockwise 90 degrees... I think it would fit the postings a little better that way...

Good job on the avatar...

I always liked the shape of the Bergmann and especially liked the similarity to the Mauser C96 broomhandle, and the forward removeable magazine... Too bad they are not in caliber 9mm Luger... the bergmann ammo is pretty expensive as I recall.

John, The 9mmBB is interchangeable with 9mm Largo, so a lot of surplus ammo is available. For the purist, I do have several 50rd boxes of new boxer primed 9mm BB ammo @$30/box + $5 S&H. TH @ [email protected]

The 1910/21 Bergman Bayard with the waffen stamp (E/WaAC6) is rare and demands a premium price (see page 355 and 357 Axis Pistols). What is the serial number? I have serial numbers 2016, 4624, 5972, 6349, 6727, and 9823 reported.

Depends on the model; over the last six months, i've seen un-modified 1908 in NRA excellent $2k+, the more common 1910/21 at $1.5-1.8K. Haven't seen a Wa stamped one in while.
Joe Salter has a couple of the Danish ones his site, but with import marks. Even so the 1910/21 with holster at 2.5K is a good buy since the holsters are quite rare and sell for 1-1.5K themselves.

Numbers are:
3875 and 9449 for the 1910/21 with Eagle/WaaC6 stampel.
No holster for these guns, sorry...

I do not own one, but I have a friend who does, and I beg to fire it at every opportunity. They shoot very nicely, the only thing I find is that the magazine is very stiff to take out.

My 1910/21 S/N is 2358 and is in excellent condition. It is a wonderful shooting firearm. I found a 20 round magazine for it. The mags are very rare and very expensive.
