For the love that all is real, I hope this pic shows up;)
Ya, I can break down a .45 with my eyes closed, but have spent the last 30 minutes trying to upload a pic...I think I have it..maybe...maye not...
Main Q for me, is should this gun be stored away, or taken out and shot? I/e does it have current collectable value? I'm not looking to sell it, but I don't want to go plinking with a 2K gun, some background all numbers match, except the clip, it's been tucked away since the mid 60's...so if it was reblued, it would have happen before then...kinda don't think so, no one as I knew it, was thinking about refinishing Lugers back then..but who knows. Geesh I hope the pic shows up. |

Luger
It looks like a nice collectible piece.
Worth approx. $1400 - $1800 based on poor pictures. Not a shooter. Bob |

Lot of light and natural light at that. I insist on taking pictures in the basement (lots of "natural lightbulbs) and they turn out crappy half the time... I have a nickled luger that I'll trade you, then you can shoot the heck out of it and I'll put this one up for safekeeping Hey, I like Merle Haggard Ed |

Okay, probably best to put it away..
Ed...ya, I still listen to Merle every nce in awhile...what you didn't see was my tall boy Bud can way off to the right I'll experiment with the camera a little and try to post up some better pics, the gun does look better than posted...but I'm thinking from what sparticus replied, it's probably best left put away and not blasted off. Gotta have good pics. |
