Firing Pin
When you're reassembling the kammer, putting the schlagbolzen, schlagbolzenfeder, and federkolben back in, and you slip. The firing pin is usually still in the breech block. Other end of the spring, Dummy!
This after a thirty minute search. Found the spring, and spring guide right away. FN |

This remembers me of an incident a few years ago. One of our P08 shooters wanted to demonstrate how easy it was to field strip a luger. He loosened the firing pin retaining pin and launched it through the cafetaria onto the light fixtures above the bar. Took about 2 hours to locate it, and it was the only time we had girls standing on the shooting club bar.

You spared the moderators to intervene. I was holding my breath for this one.
