Question about Frame Marking
Came across a frame mark on the front strap marked
10./J.R.17. (then smaller numbers 17.) What does that indicate? Thanks |

It is on a parts gun I shot this weekend. (shoots pretty well). 1921 date, DWM scroll on toggle. Reblued I believe. Mismatched magazines. Gebruder Klinge (bring your own umlaut) Dresden 1938 holster w/ a waffenamt stamp below.

Sorry better half pushed me off computer to do paying customer work. I forgot to thank you for the info. The holster also has some of that god awful German script stamped inside the flap that I can't make out.
