WOW!
The new site looks great! I've VERY impressed.
and how about that Borchardt! I've been asked about Stainless Steel Lugers recently made by Stoger(sp?) in Texas(?). I seem to remember hearing that this company bought machinery from Mauser to produce Lugers. Is this true? Are these weapons still being produced? Thanks, Todd |

They are still available...
and cost about $600 at last I heard. Their email address is: [email protected] or snail mail to:
Stoeger Industries 5 Maynard Crt. Wayne, N.J., USA 07470 Ph: (973) 872-9500 Fax: (973) 872-2230 If you take a wander over to our Owner's Corner, there is a wonderful article entitled Stoeger Inox under Jerry Boyle's name that is well worth reading if you are interested in this Luger. Good Luck - Dok |

Re: WOW!
Hi Todd!
Nope, it's not true The Lugers in question are made by: Aimco, Inc. 5123 Gulfton Houston, TX 77081 (713) 661-9301 Stoeger is just the marketing agent. I'd suggest buying direct Hope this helps! Best regards, Kyrie |

Re: WOW!
Forget about buying Stoegers in California, as of 1/1/01, you can't even touch 'em! The only way to get your hands on one of these is a consignment sale, private sale or breaking and entering! I just hope "Gray" Davis has gotten the word out to all those criminals we have here. I know I'm ready to stick up a savings and loan with my 1916 DWM!
Cheers! |

Re: WOW!
Todd, The AIMCO (formerly SPM) stainless steel lugers are NOT manufactured on anybodys original machinery, in fact most parts are not interchangable with the orig luger. As with any stainless pistol you must keep the moving parts well lubricated to prevent galling of these parts. If it's an inexpensive luger shooter that you're after, I'd recommend one of the recent imported original PO8s. I have several of these available in the $400 (mismatched) or $450 with new barrels, to $500 for matching serial numbers.
