Default #'d Mags & Grip Panels, WWI

I hope that some of the experts on the forum can help me out.

Would it not be correct for both wood bottom magazine bases issued with a DWM 1915 military to be serial #'d to the pistol, with the "extra" magazine additionally marked with a "+"?

Were 1915 DWM military P-08 grip panels ser #'d to the pistol w/the last two digets of the ser #?

What if one magazine base was totally unmarked and the grip panels were similarly unmarked?

Thanks

Hi

Grip panels and mag bottoms should be numbered; + indicates extra mag. If they aren't numbered, you have replavements.

Hope this helps,

Tom
