"Mob Guns" baby Lugers
Just noticed these on GunsAmerica. Apparently a commercial venture.

Interesting pair. But, I don't know how to value such guns. Are they work $6k?

I find the work interesting and of apparent good quality, but certainly not worth the asking price for either the "artillery" OR the P.38K IMHO.

Been available for a while, they also have a website.
In the description, they disclose that the "satin" finish is simply polished steel- no finish at all.

As I recall, this was also one of the finish options offered by John Martz... only I think his were glass-beaded finish of raw steel.

Zebra wood grips, nice. But hard to work with
I would gladly buy a baby for fun, but its low on my listing. Much prefer longer barrels |

I hadn't come across a listing by this seller for a while, but I remember another baby Luger listed by them on G.A. a couple of years ago. IIRC, it was in the $3.5k range.
John, this baby comes with two uppers--the 9mm x 5" with Artillery rear sight, and a 7.65mm x 2 1/2" with standard rear toggle. Still over-priced IMHO.

There have been several of these shortened artillery barrels shown here over the last couple years; one shows up regularly in the Random Album Pics...
It looks like they took one of the short arty uppers and a baby Luger and 'bundled' them...

Not sure why you would want to move the 2 sights so close together on the artillery, other than for the novelty.

Maybe not a question of wanting to, just of availability of the basis barrel and sight.
