Post 1900 Swiss rig now complete.

This past weekend at a gun auction I was able to obtain two items that made my 1900 rig complete.
The correct holster with strap in pristeen condition and an unopened packet of 30 cal Swiss ammunition dated 1905.

Further details are avaliable if anyone is interested
Best wishes.

Murray,

It never ceases to amaze me how you come up with all these museum quality pieces DOWN UNDER!

My heartiest congrats!

Murray, just great, nice finds.

I can't imagine that early ammo is easy to find, anywhere!!

Murray,

I am afraid that your rig is not yet complete - you still need one of those early Swiss 1900/06 manuals!! (just teasing).

By the way, I just received from my friend in Portugal the unique Portuguese Navy Academy manual for my Luger (see image below).

What is the date of the Swiss holster? Congratulations on the early box of Swiss ammunition.

Well done,
Albert
