What is this stock ??

The seller says this is a fantasy item, but I already saw the same wood stock in the Museum of Technics in Berlin a few years ago. I don't think German specialists would display a fake in their museum... Can anybody tell more about this kind of stock please ? Thank you.
PS: the leather part is not a fake (Maury & Co).
