That certainly is a fine looking and complete looking outfit!
I am curious about the stock; I have never seen one quite like it, I think. I am used to LP08 stocks being flat boards and, in the photo or perhaps there is something wrong with these old eyes; that stock does not look like a flat board. Can you post a picture with the stock alone? Patrick, can you get close enough so the stock fills the frame? |

I am truly honoured! The stock is custom made from a broken K98k walnut stock and oil polished. My eyesight is no longer that good and so I lengthened it to get more distance to the rear sight. My previous stock (which is much nicer) was made of beech wood with a removeable leather stock-iron cover - and is destined as a prize in the competition which I most likely will never get around to finish organizing.
