Buy it before the boosters do!
there's a matching 1917 Navy frame and receiver, serial #863on Gunbroker (#209121340)...sadly, the original barrel is there too, but lopped off at about 4in...has nice sharp crown Ms on it...might make a nice project for a shooter. Currently at $287.00 with 3 days to go

dunno...depends on what it's gonna be used for....maybe steep for just a frame and receiver for a shooter, but given the right "mechanic" you may see a pretty Navy show up for big bucks on GM auctions or PIA hehehe...seriously though, Norm is doing commendable work tracking serial numbers, doubtless it's caused some fakers to think twice
