Default WW1 Holster mark?

I was looking at a nice WW1 era Luger of my father-in law's. it came with a holster that is marked B.A. XI on the in side of the flap. Anyone knows what this is? A unit mark? Thanks for any help.

It refers to a Bavarian quartermaster distribution center, so to speak, only in Germanic terms. It is definitely WW1 era.

Most books define "B.A.XI" as the 11th army clothing depot. Hosters were issued as disposable uniform items, not accountable by serial number, like the pistols. Tom h.
