Default 7.62 ammunition

I would like a box or two of period ammunition to display with an '02 carbine. It is my understanding that the arm was imported for sale in the USA
. If thats the case would american ammunition be acceptable? Would appreciate some input and sources if any. thank you

some original carbine ammo will be very expensive, best of luck!

I think I have seen it on some collector firearms sites?

Default luger carbine ammo

Thanks guys for your help. Also for ignoring the typo "7.62" -- rare luger! I may get to Tulsa in April. My friends say "If you didn't find it in Tulsa, you werent looking."
