Several rare and unique pieces. I was really impressed with several items: Winchesters, C96s, cased Colts and that Krieghoff. It's time to buy the lottery ticket.

The #24 cut-away is ex rare. One thing that I never understand, why this step-barrel cut-away's blue is all gone, and grip panels were replaced. Supposedly, it has never been fired/used, right?
The auction house is not too far away, I will go there to take a look on their preview. Good chance to see great rare items. I bet he has other rare items. Those Turkish, 6-shot LRH, Hanyang etc, as printed on "Gun Collectors", probably are still there. |

Joe had a large collection. There certainly is more in this auction, and I bet there will be more in future auctions.

I probably cannot chase 20-shot, or System Mauser at this time, those guns are 1st tier gun, I guess they will be very expensive. If one day, I can get a Turkish, or Flatside Bolo (2nd tier variations), in original 70-80% shape, I will be very satisfied. |
