1908 Bulgarian contract census
If anyone here has a relatively intact 1908 Bulgarian contract Luger (DWM over chamber, Cyrillic markings, etc.), we are making a list of all such pistols that can be found at
http://luger.gunboards.com/showthrea...lgarian-census So far we are up to 37 documented guns. If you don't want to join that forum to reply, just leave your info here and I will be happy to add it to the list. Pictures are greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

The 1908 Bulgarian contract census is up to 47 pistols. Would love to add some more or fill in the gaps for the unknowns if you have seen one of these pistols in person or online.

I've got one, with DWM over chamber, cyrillic writing instead of the classic "gesichert" bulgarian lion on toggle, BUT since we in Italy we cannot have 9 Para it has been rebarreled in 30 Luger. The s/n is 836
Hope it's useful tp your census. Sergio

We've made a lot of progress in a year - now up to 84 M1911 Bulgarians, 44 of which appear to be original finish/parts.
