Default 1923 commercial 12 inch long barrel

All...... I posted some scans of a Luger I had just acquired a week or so ago. I got a response from a collector in Malta. I have tried to recover that post but cannot. Any help ?

God bless........ Mike Morris

Your reply from Albert and your reply would likely have been via PM - so no control over that.

You have a long barrel luger - what information are you looking for Mike? You've dealt with lugers for over 50 years, assume that you've had a couple? I have owned two at least, both were 30 luger. Neither of mine had an artillery sight added.

Default 23 commercial

Hi Ed ! Good to hear from you guy ! I made a mistake.... I have had so many ongoing conversations on Lugers in the last week. I meant my 1914 DWM artillery # 121. I got a reply from a collector in Malta and was trying to respond to him. My computer gets so bogged down with all the messages that when I went to delete some, I mistakenly deleted that thread.

unless you delete them, the actual message would be in your Private Message folder, on Jan's forum - which no one else but you can see.

I only know this since you replied to it as an email and those come to the admin (me) - I believe I responded by saying you needed to answer on the forum. But Jan Still's forum, not here.

How about some info about this long barreled Luger you posted???

Isn't the elevation button on the wrong side??? IIRC, either Tom or George mentioned that some US importers offered extra-long barreled 'artillery' Lugers with opposite side buttons...

Cool acquisition! Does the barrel have any markings???
