Interesting numbers
Saw this 1937 on GB this morning. Notice the difference between the "11" or "77" font used throughout. Almost looks like they used a "7" as a "1" on the front of the frame.

I don't think there is any question that they are all "1"s; though the strike on the frame front is very deep and tilted toward the top- which does make those look a little like "7". JMHO.
