Default The Elegant 1900 American Eagle Luger

Love those dished toggles. They add a certain flair to an excellent design.

Beautiful gun. THE classic Luger. I own six M1900 Lugers (Commercial, AE, 2 U.S. Test, and 2 Swiss), plus a John Martz baby, a '02 Fat Barrel and a '02 Cartridge Counter with dished toggles. Glad I got them when I did as I can't begin to afford them now.

For some reason, I cannot see the images in the message body, but right clicking and "view image" works. *shrug* But I agree, very elegant!

Wow Ron, what a collection! The pictures I am showing are of two different restorations. (obvious because of the embellished markings) The bottom one is one I did for Hugh Clark long ago!

Thumbs up

Yes, the 1900 and its scalloped toggle knobs are just plain elegant,

I have four, and am lucky enough to have a consecutive numbered pair.

I like the scalloped toggle so well, I had Rich cut my P 08 style toggle to simulate the 1900 when building my "baby".
Not quite the same, but adds a little class, JMHO.
Thanks Rich.

That is a good looking Baby Don. Here is what Martz did to a 1900, and it has been converted from a leaf to a coil mainspring.

One lazily sitting on a copy of Imperial Lugers, partially assembled that I worked on.
