Brand New
I'd like to learn about my Luger. I have no knowledge whatsoever of the gun. I know I fired it. That's about all I know. In order to get on to the right forum, where do I start? Picture? Any and all numbers found on the gun? Any good gouge on how to start diggining in on it is appreciated. Thanks. Hot Ajax

Clear, sharp pictures showing as much detail as possible would be very helpful. Begin with full shots of both sides and the top. Then closeups of the numbered parts including the underside of the barrel and front of the frame. Pictures taken in open shade outside or under a cloudy sky usually are best.

Start by downloading and reading our FAQ PDF Document. There is considerable reference information in there that you'll find useful.
Take the photos in shaded natural light with a camera that can focus. Size them to about 1024 pixels on the longest axis. Post them using the dialog that appears in the Advanced editor under the text window. Use the "Manage attachments" button to upload image files.
