Need comprehensive treatise on how to identfy different magazine types and time periods of use.

This is a good start. About 300 bucks a copy. Well worth it. Plus, get copies of Still's Imperial Lugers and Weimar Lugers, and you should be set with the requested knowledge. These guys spent decades acquiring the knowledge you seek. Not everything is a click away on the internet. Sometimes we need books.http://forum.lugerforum.com/attachmh...1&d=1640842746

That book is a "must have". They are getting more expensive every day. Don't hesitate.

It would be nice is someone produced a comprehensive guide to Luger magazines, but as many have pointed out before me, it would require a great deal of research.
