Default Need info on Paul Bieneck Berlin holster

I have this holster in very nice condition that appears to be made for the P08. It’s marked Paul Bieneck Berlin 1937. Has anyone heard of such a critter?

From the more tubular shape for the barrel, I wonder if it's made for an Astra model 600 pistol?

I wondered that too. I got it as part of a Luger deal and was told it was a reworked Luger holster. I know only a little about P08 Lugers and much less than that about the leather they wore. The gun fits very well in it but it doesn’t look like it was made for Lugers, per se.

It doesn't appear as though it was intended for a Luger. I think the Astra 600 suggestion is a good call. Or perhaps one of the Walther Model 6 pistols. hard to know since it isn't marked. Nice holster though.

Thanks for the input, guys. I was used it was just some kind of German commercial Luger holster of no real significance. But the observations that it looks more like an Astra holster make a lot of sense. Both guns fit almost perfectly so it’s hard to tell.

Anyone care to guess at a value for it? I’m selling off my holster collection and I have no idea what it might bring or even how to list it.

Most of the converted holsters, will have a luger loading tool pouch, as its also used for loading the magazine and as a screwdriver
