Lugers in Action Period Pictures
Hi all,
I think it would be great if we could compile a bunch of pictures of Lugers in action. I mean military or original period pictures; be they German, American, Finish etc. Posed or combat pictures, off the Internet, from scrap books, personal pictures. Just not pictures of you and your favorite P08 or some current photo of a Luger for sale on Gun Broker etc. Should be fun and great reference source. Please include any info if known, ie like this one, WWII France. Last edited by sdmark777; 11-06-2022 at 11:20 AM. |

Here's a somewhat rare photo of Imperial Navy sailors indulging in impromptu target practice. Since the shots are grouped a few inches high and the minimum distance of Navy Luger sights are 100 meters, I'm guessing they were shooting at 50 meters. Still pretty good shooting!

wow, nice photos. I have a few, but have to search through 40,000 pictures (hard drive crash in January)
I am unsure where I got almost all my photos, because when I retrieved the pictures, it made doubles and triples and no rhyme nor reason. Let me take a couple out EDIT - found some more, some might not have lugers in them, let me look The third one down, these folks had a luger they shot, but I can't find that picture

Finally found it Bought these off of ebay many years ago.
This lady appears to be shooting a 1900 or is it a 1906? and on the second picture, the GI wrote a note on the back. |
