Ray, your quest may be better served by moving this post to the WTB section.
Here's a repro for less than ten bucks. https://www.keepshooting.com/luger-tool.html If it's just for shooting, this will do the trick. The important part is the thin lip on one edge of the hole. Hook that lip over the follower button on the mag, pull the follower down using the short leg of the tool, and Bob's your uncle!

Yes, one has to be a masochist to want to load a Luger mag by hand. Unfortunately my single and dual stack 9mm MagLula's that work wonderfully on all other mags, do not work with Luger mags of any manufacturer.
Lastly, I found that my one repop Luger tool does not work well with my MegGar or other mags. I guess they are for show only.

A modern take on the loading tool. Works well and can latch the follower down for easy internal cleaning.

The lip I mentioned is virtually non-existent on some of the cheap ones. If there's nothing to securely snag the follower button, you're in for a world of hurt. Review the available pics to check for that lip on whatever is under consideration, and take a pass on whatever lacks the pics to confirm this.
