Bob Lewis' Swiss Luger Collection...
I had the honor of being able to see Mr. Bob Lewis' Swiss luger collection at the Reno gun show today. I was stunned and left speechless !!! (I am sure some of you folks hope this is a permanent condition... ...just kidding...).
If you all get a chance to see this collection, it is a real treat. And Mr. Lewis is a real nice guy that was willing to spend lots of time with this Swiss luger "beginner". |

Hi Pete,
I'll Second that motion. What a professional display of beautiful antiques. Being only interested in Mausers, I still couldn't help myself, rooted to the spot in front of that stand studying each of those beautiful specimens. The endless variations of stunning Lugers sometimes makes my head spin. Those wacky Germans sure left us with a lifetime hobby of fun and excitement -- trying to learn all things Luger! |

Hello Jim,
I do not know if you stayed and talk with Bob long enough; but Dr. Fisher and I did and eventually Bob brought out photos of his total collection at home. It is almost a warehouse full of stuff. I think you would have had a coronary if he showed you those photos !!! |
