Heinmot, Whittington's Vol. III is excellent. Cover to cover photos and discriptions.

Heinmot,
Did you say you have both of E. Bender's books. Many folks know about the big book but do not have the smaller book that just deals with luger and other holsters from the WWII timeframe only. The Whittington book that Ron Smith mentioned is also a good one, but covers other guns and holsters that just lugers... Other books such as "The Dutch Luger" specifically cover holsters for the Dutch lugers. Same with V. Bobba's book on Swiss lugers. Some of the German-texted books on Swiss lugers also have several pages dedicated to holsters as well. Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

I don't! I only have the "Big" book. Can you tell me the names of this book and Whittington's? I am having some trouble finding them on a word search.

For our German-reading audience,
The 2000 revised issue of Goertz's 'Die Pistole 08' is recommendable. Some nice background info from German archives, also on Holsters. |
