V. Bobba's 2nd. Luger Book...!!!
It appears that Italian author, Vittoria Bobba, has put out a 2nd. book on Lugers...about the 100 years of the Luger :
http://www.edolimpia.it/lev_1/armi/top_armi.htm Could any of our Italian friends do a translation and let us english-speaking members know how to order this book...? The book appears to be 176 pages, 17"x24" in size, and has 140 color illustrations/photos...and appears to cover the 1st. 100 year history of the Luger... If someone could do a translation and post the ordering info. here on the Forum, this would be great. I am also wondering if the book is written only in Italian or both Italian/English like his book about Swiss lugers...? Regards, Pete... |

Hello Fellows,
I would like to highlight that my book about Luger Artillery as well as the new Bobbaâ??s book share the same publisher: OLIMPIA. In fact, look at the following link: http://www.edolimpia.it/lev_1/libri/...go/5080301.htm Therefore if you want to order a copy you have to send an email to the following address: [email protected] The focal point is Mme. MOSCA. You can write in English, a translation in Italian is not necessary. I hope this helps. Do not hesitate to contact me for further questions. Ciao Mauro

Hi Mauro,
I have sent 2 emails...about 1.5 weeks apart...no reply from anyone on the publishers end... Could you check for me to see if they do not want to sell to USA...??? Or maybe they are not set up for such sales...??? I even did a poor translation of my emails in Italian...maybe it was so bad a translation they assumed I am a real idiot and have no business wanting to buy a book... Thanks for your help... p.s. Also...I sent a sales inquiry to Dr. Regnier in CH 2 weeks ago...wanting more info and photos of 3-4 items he has for sale...again no reply. Guess he just does not want to sell stuff to me...??? I even mentioned your name...hoping that would get him to reply... Pete... Last edited by Pete Ebbink; 01-19-2005 at 10:22 PM. |
