Default One more Prayer Request

My dear friends,

For those of you who don't know the history, our daughter Amy (28) has been fighting cancer for almost 5 years... she was subjected to a radical mastectomy about a year and half ago to save her life...up until yesterday, she had been cancer free for about 15 months...but it has been a rough night.

She call last night to tell us that she has just seen her doctor and he found some new lumps that will have to be biopsied today... I humbly request your prayers that the Lord bless us with a good report. If your church has a prayer chain, please put her name on the list (Amy McRae)

If we find out today that this is the return of the cancer that has already taken her breasts, Peggy and I will driving out to Phoenix to be with Amy during her chemo/radiation/surgery treatments. We don't want her to have to go through this alone again... There are 3 grandsons who need their mother very much.

Peggy will stay at least through November, I will fly back on Sunday to keep the home fires burning and an paycheck coming in. We will be driving out to AZ on the high route through NM... my dear friend Ted Green and his lovely wife Natalie have graciously offered to let us spend the night in Albuquerque as we pass through on our marathon drive to Phoenix from Virginia...

Please keep those prayers coming in... I am confident that the prayers of my friends have meant all the difference in the fight against this cancer in the past 5 years (James 5:16). Thank you all so much for your friendship and support...it means more to me than you may ever know...

John,

My family will certainly pray for your daughter; we can only imagine the anxiety you face. May God be with your family in this difficult time.

Regards,
Luke

John,
I will continue to pray for your daughter and will ask our home group to pray for her also. Also, I will pray for a safe trip for both of you as you make your way to Phoenix.

Thumbs up

John,My Friend,
Its been a long while since I have been very active here, But I still lurk and try to keep up.
Billie and I will offer our prayers for with You and Yours as long as you ask!
Prayer Works,For all things ask of the Lord will receive an answer, It falls to us to find the meaning!
In my 80 years I have survived multiple skull fractures, coma, and kidney cancer, I am one who has been into the tube of light and returned. (back then we did not speak openly of such things) If the prayers of my family and the friends such as we have here on the Forum were not sustaining me I would have long since have been forgotten.
Have Faith and Bear Witness To The Power Of The Lord and He Shall Be With You Through All.
You never walk alone, His footprints are beside yours All The Way, And Should you look Back And See A single set of Footprints, Be of Good Faith, He Is Carrying You.
I Know for as I Look Back, I can see only a few of my own tracks, But His Are Always There.
Gott Mit Uns!!!

To all my dear forum friends and fellow believers... Yesterday afternoon the doctor told Amy that the growths were NOT CANCEROUS...

I feel like I am walking on clouds... and hope to some day! I don't need to preach to you that prayed for Amy and us...Thank you so much for your prayers... and thank you for your friendship... the results speak for themselves...

HE is ALWAYS faithful.

God bless each and every one of you...

P.S. Our unplanned marathon driving trip to Phoenix has been cancelled till our next vacation...
