tac,
Same thing happened to me. I knew that the credit card I use for AOL was about to expire so it seemed legitimate at first but when I saw they wanted my Social Security number..........!

Pete, Tac, Don, et al,
I get that every month and I don't even have a PayPal account. Do NOT follow the links! If in doubt you should contact PayPal, AOL, your bank, or whatever by telephone or snail-mail. But you already know this. Still, evidently enough people fall for these phishing trips to make it worthwhile for the criminals to keep doing it. Russell

Hollllld on there pardner!
Last I heard Japan has to import all of it's orl at high OPEC prices whereas the UK is awash in that light sweet crud from the North Sea, or something like that. Seems not only laws of physics but also laws of economics have been turned upside down. Says Mrs. P, 'How can this be?' Russell

Dear TAC,
As my wife is Canadian I am familiar with both the Imperial Gallon and the later metric system used in Canada. Even taking that into consideration, I was shocked at the price of gasoline in your Country. The last time I was there (back in the dark ages :-)) gasoline was only about $4 . . . if I remember correctly. Our large SUVs (17 mpg in US gallons) would not do so well over there. Best Regards, Luke
