Default New Hampshire Auction?

Do any of you know about a September Auction in New Hampshire? I have a good friend who passed away and the family gave all his guns to an auctioneer in NH to sell in September. There is one Luger that I would like to have as a personal memento and I am not friendly with the family.

Any information would be appreciated.

Mark, I haven't heard of it? Although a month or so ago they had an auction here that I missed, right in the neighborhood... I wouldn't have known except that I saw it advertised on their California website!

Do you have any info on the auctioneer?

Will you dirve up for the NH get together?

Check amoskeag and j.c. devine. They're both in NH.

Tracy,

Thanks for the info, I will call them both.

Ed, if I locate the Luger I will go up to the auction, it is a mismatched expertly refinished "shooter". When my buddy got his C&R about ten years ago we went to the Springfield, MA gun show for his first C&R pistol and I found a real "screamer" gun at one of the tables ... priced right.

He had never shot WWII guns before and he shot my shooter stuff at the range and my "shooters" became part of our regular "rotation" at the gun range .... that Luger was something he really wanted for his first C&R pistol ... it has a lot of memories for me.

Sounds good, I actually meant the John Dunkle / Ed Tinker get together in Portsmouth, NH. We are only 50-60 miles from you, maybe you could skirt across the Mass line with your consecutive numbered X-XX and impress us at a BBQ

Also, Joe Salter has a shop somewhere here also, I haven't been there yet...

What is the date on that? I might shoot up there for some good conversation and a beer ... I'll bring a few nice cigars ... and pehaps a gun or two, I have my carry permit in NH, Maine, CT and RI.

Mark,
try the Gunlist magazine. The two auctions mentioned advertise their auctions and frequently give a descrption on the guns that they are auctioning off. The worse that can happen is that you will get their phone numbers to call.
