For some reason I can't get mor than 1 picture to post (most likely because I don't know what I'm doing). Here is the back.

Hi,
Looks good to me. A full shot of the back, showing the complete stitching pattern would help. |

Hi,
Looks perfect to me. Everything I'd expect to see. Of course, Jerry is our real expert. Perhaps he'll comment on it? |

Gerben and Ritchie have nailed this one. Looks nice. I would request a photo of the front with the top open. I don't think it's the case here but it might disclose any problems that might be inside. Somtimes holsters are cut away for quick draw and this is covered by the top or the tool pouch has some problems. Also you cannot see the lifting strap in the photo's provided. All of these would be interesting to know about.
Again, this holster does not appear to have this rare problem but it has surfaced for me recently, check to see if a pistol will fit into it. Over time some holsters shrink just enough to give this problem. Jerry Burney

Thanks for the comments.
I won't be able to try the holster for fit, but here is a picture of the top open. I still can't figure out how to do multiple pics so I will send another pic showing the mag pouch with the top open. As far as the lifting strap they have replied "Inside of holster body has a quick release strap stitched to top flap and front body". lugerholsterrepair do you repair all types of holsters I have ordered a Nambu Type 14 that needs some repairs (I haven't seen it yet hopefully this week) it was cheap! Thanks Joe |

Joe, Looks like a really nice Luger holster. I am somewhat confused by their description of the lifting strap.
" the lifting strap they have replied "Inside of holster body has a quick release strap stitched to top flap and front body". This is a description for a P-38 lifting strap! The Luger holster should be connected at the lower stitching line of the inside panel at the back, protruding to the front right of the body through a slot ending in a knot. Curious. Probably nothing amiss. Yes, I repair any pre 1945 holster. I specialize in all German but have restored many a Japanese. Jerry Burney

Jerry,
Thanks for the info and quick response. I pulled the trigger and bought the holster. I think it was a good deal at $200.00 and the dealer has fantastic feedback on GunBroker.com. I will let you know about the condition of the Nambu holster and if it needs your expertise when I receive it. Thanks, G. van Vlimmeren and the gunman for your advise and help. Great Forum here! Joe, Think you got a nice one at a more than reasonable price. Good Luck with it! Jerry Burney

Joe, welcome to the forum. Where you are adding one picture, in this section, it is all you can do. However, on the upper right is an upload photo's button, there you can upload a bunch, copy and then paste EACH url it gives you.
What I do is name all the pictures the same, except for, pic1, then pic2, then pic3, then I just copy and paste one url, put [ img] [/img ] (no spaces) on each side of the url and then upload the three pictures, simply changing the name of each url (or you have three show up the same) in the dialog box.
