Luger Holster question?
I have a 1916 DWM luger 4" barrel that I carry quite a bit. I would like to know if anyone knows of a maker who makes a nice high quality leather holster without the flap, a sporting holster if you will similar to an Audley holster in shape. I truly love this pistol and will not carry anything else. I have searched the web over and haven't found anything. I don't mind if the holster is made by a custom maker or if it is a production holster Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Other than our own Jerry Burney (lugerholsterrepair), my favorite holster maker is El Paso Saddlery at www.epsaddlery.com. They have a wide variety of styles, and I am sure they could come up with a variation of one of them that would suit your needs at a fairly reasonable cost. Check them out.

Ron, Thanks! I try to keep away from such projects and stick to repair and fabrication of original German leather items. You are right to suggest El Paso..One of the good makers of such leather goods.
There is such a holster right now on eBay I believe...Jerry Burney
