Non Luger 9mm Husqvarna question

This forum helping me a lot when I was identified a rare 1906 luger. Now I have this Husqvarna 9MM from a friend that I am trying to invesigate. Can you folks help me identify this gun or direct me to who might be able to help? Just a shooter or something unique?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not surprised. It didn't look very impressive to me but I thought I should at least check. I'll pass on your insight. My friend will appreciate knowing more about the history, even if it's not very unique.

He got a few pistols and a rifle passed on from his brother. There are two Mausers in the collection as well. One 1897 bolt action rifle and pistol (unknown date) that is obviously German but also has Japanese insignia inscribed on the barrel. They both look well used and not collectors pieces unless their specific models are unique. Let me know if you want pictures of those and Iâ??ll post them up when I can.

Tac, Nice consice summary on the Lahti. This is the first one that I've seen with brown grips, so a bit unusual. What the heck are you doing in Japan? I thought that you were retired. TH

Thanks. I corrected my missspellings (Sheepish grin). It'll probably be next week before I can swap guns with my friend and post new pics.

When I was in Tokyo with Adm. Perry. There was a steakhouse down in the Ginza. They served a 52oz. slab with great side orders, but the owner has probably long since gone to visit his ancestors by now.

Thank you for the infomation on the 9mm loads for it. I HAD thought that they were built strong enough to handle MG 9mm rounds. They look like a P08 on steriods, I was sure wrong!
