Ed...

Which book ? The first one for $ 125 is still available from Simpsons ?

If you want the 2nd. smaller paperback book about lugers in general and written entirely in Italian, let me know...I have an extra copy.

the first book, I ordered it from a guy in italy, for a bit cheaper. waited 2 months, wrote him, he said he'd send me another, waited anothr 2 months, so I kinda put it on the back burner.

Will give the Simpson's link to my wife for Christmas

This worked for me 1 month ago: book + shipping -> EUR 54.40 by credit card. It took one week to arrive from the moment I faxed the ordre.
I don't know about shipping it to the US. But I'd suppose it should work as well.

Here's the website where I ordred the book:

Ed,
I ended up paying $90 for a hard cover version and it's well worth the money. The photos are fantastic and the text translation is pretty good. I read mine from cover to cover a couple of times before I bought my first Swiss and that along with an hour on the phone with a very indulgent and helpful Pete Ebbink prepared me pretty well.

Thumbs up

The book itself is a work of art. Beautifully done!! Of course, we all think the subject is a "work of art".
