Default Luger Mauser S/42 1937

In my Luger collection there is a model the trouble me: it is the different blue of the gun.
As a matter of fact, the finish of the barrel is more polished than the rest of the gun (that is more opaque). I dont believe the barrel has been refurbished, due to the well printed marks on the barrel.
What is your opinion?
Many thanks in advance

Hi....I think the barrel was made of a different hardness steel....I have seen several original Lugers where the barrel appeared brighter
