Help dating a Radom & a C-96
Hi, I was hoping someone could help me with approximate dates of manufacture for a pair of handguns - an L-series Radom (Nazi three lever) and a prewar Commercial C-96, sn 96989. Thanks!

Nyles, welcome to the forum. I assume some members may know, but interesting you would ask these questions on the "luger" forum as your first question...

I read on Gunboards that there's a good knowledge base here on German issued pistols in general. Thought I'd try my luck.
Unfortunately, being Canadian (and about 10 years old when our current firearms laws took effect), Luger collecting is pretty much a closed avenue to me - the only Luger I can legally own (other than a Navy or Artillery, which I can't afford, or a rebarelled Finn, which I can't find) would have an extended barrel. I'd rather have no Luger than bastardise an original one. |

Happy new year back at ya Ed,it has not gone unnoticed by me that you are almost always the first to welcome a newcomer and help when you can. Even though I don't have a clue on the question asked on this thread I predict is will be forthcoming. clint
