Lightbulb Feb. 22-25, 2007 OVMS Show of Shows

Following an older link in this area, I found that the Ohio Valley Military Society will be holding their 15th "Show of Shows" event on Feb. 22-25, 2007 in Louisville, KY. Apparently all 1,600+ tables have been reserved.

Here's the link:

It looks like a good group of forum members met last year. Will there be a similar get-together this year?

Dave in TN.

Dave,

I think many of the same folks are planning to attend. Joop from Belgium will not make it; so the great wine/dinner event will not be repeated.

But attending members can certainly organize a more informal, dutch-treat dinner event...

I'd like to go but I can't see attending the SHOT Show next week and this show as well. I'd actually rather go to this one since so many of my "Luger Buddies" (as my girlfriend calls you all) will be there.

I also need to pick up some Artillery stuff and I know I won't find it at SHOT...

Hmmm, maybe next year? If I don't move to Boise, that is...

~~~ Edit ~~~
Just noticed that this show is FEBRUARY and not this month... Silly me...
But I'll be in Oklahoma that week, working.
Guys,
As the SOS show in KY approaches, I will post up a dinner sign-up sheet on the Luger Forum and on Jan's Gun Boards.
I will need someone to "step up" and volunteer to make the dinner reservations with the hotel/restaurant...however...as my attendance is up in flux, now, with work matters. I will not know until the last minute.
If dinner will be in the restaurant of the hotel, I think they limit the group to under 20...first come...on the sign-up list.
If the group gets larger and a banquet hall needs to be reserved; that is a different matter with a deposit required in advance.
So I would suggest holding a small 20 person affair.
Steve,
You should plan to attend the SE NAPCA convention in Chattanooga, TN this August.
If you are not a NAPCA member, one needs to sponsor your attendance. If you are interested...send me a PM with your email addresss and I can send you more details.
Always lots of good luger and luger goodies and other vintage semi-auto pistols on display and for sale.
You won't see very many over-priced and boosted lugers there as you do at most of the gun shows in the USA.
