He shoots, he scores! (Again)
Picked up a nice Deutsche Werke Ortgies in .32 acp today.
$200 with a mint bore. Neat little guns. Always wanted one. Does anyone know of a source where I can match the SN to a year of manufacture? Also, this one has "BS" stamped to the left of Deutsche Werke in large script letters on the left side of the slide. Anybody know what this could be? (Don't say it. It's too easy, even for you guys. <grin> ).

The B.S. marking could be the B.S. police (?) marking that has yet to be identified. Do a search for discussions on this marking. Don Maus is still trying to track it down and identify it.

Did a search. Found nothing. But you say this is a marking someone found on another gun? That in and of itself is a relief. At least its not likely to be a case of some guy putting his initials on this gun.
