Erfurt c/RC c/X 1917
i have 6 of these c/RC which i see a survey is for but don't know my nomenclature yet just to post location properly, inherited my great grandfathers and grandfathers pistols only 2 not many. what i can't find is the meaning of the c/X or c/I hard to read gothic lettering it looks like to me the barrel has been rebarreled as its missing the caliber marking below serial and it seems my letter block is missing from the barrel. i thought they remarked the date of refurb on such things as you can see lugers are NOT my thing sorry you all have to wade through my bad drescriptions. i dont have a photobucket account or any other i can email pics!!! you can reach me at [email protected]
thanks vaughn |

wow, my 1916 Erfurt Luger also has number "76" for the last two serial numbers. I am always lookin for a side plate with 76 on it as mine is all matching except for the side plate.
