Default Grips on 1938 s/42

Ok, added this 1938. The left grip is stamped 2-digit numbered to match and no chip. The right grip is pencil numbered and certainly looks period in pencil. The gun is macthed and high percent blue ~97%.

The fit of the both grips around the front strap isn't great, which surprised me. Fit at the top is perfect.

Watcha thing about the pencil SN on only one grip (replacement?)...

Thx/ Bob

Hi Bob, only speculation, but I would say the pencil marked is a replacement!!
