Christer,
Welcome to the Forum, very glad to see a new member from your part of the world. In order to tell you about your friend's Luger, we will need to see: closeup pictures of the left receiver, barrel, and left breechblock; closeup pictures of any markings on the right receiver, barrel, and breechblock; and closeup pictures of any markings on the bottom, or anywhere else, on the barrel. Is this gun .30 cal., or 9mm? Does it have a cartouche with an SA in it anywhere, or a T-in-triangle or T-in-triangle in a circle on the barrel? --Dwight |

All I can see is that it is a DWM or seems to be. I am no expert, but there are some very knowledgable people on the forum. They can give you as good info as you want, if you can provide good pictures. One thing I have learned over the years

Thank You for that speedy response.
unfortunately this is as close i can get with my lowbudget camera. There are no stamps any where, nothing on the barrel (some one actually said that the barrel was Sako made?) on the frame under the barrel "8479" is stamped and under that the letter "a" Other parts is stamped with "79". One mag is stamped with "8479" I have looked at pictures of other P08 and know where to look for stamps but nothing. The thing with the extractor is replaced due to fracture so there is a small stamp with an eagle on the new one, but that was replaced by present owner so that stamp does not count. And the old one sits in the safe for safekeeping The caliber is 9mm and he uses it as a shooter (not swedish military rounds thou as they are way to hot) |
