Default Snail drum adapter

Has anyone any info. on these Luger snail drum adapters you see advertised on e-bay from time to time.
Are they meant to be used with the WW.II. German MP 38 and MP 40 Schmeisser Sub Machine Gun?
Is there anywhere I can see a photo of one.

Many thanks Roy

Roy They were used for the Bergman MP 18.I. There is a picture of one in John Walters "The Luger Book." And in Kenyons Lugers At Random. My scanner is shot or I would send you a picture. I'm sure someone else will . Bill
