Decent Price...
This one is the P08 with 6" 9 mm barrel...
Price is very decent as these P08 usually go for more. If I could bring this one into CA, I would go for it myself. but the P08 grip strap model is not on the C&R list...and not on the CA-State DOJ "drop test" list. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=87235519 |

Pete:
There seems to be quite a lot of confusion regarding just what Mauser Parabellums are covered by the C&R list, particularly by the dealers. I've considered applying for a comprehensive ruling from the BATE regarding this matter. Would you like to join me in the effort? Sieger |

Hi Bob,
Sure I will join you. I tried about 5 years ago and traded letters with the BATF about these 1979-80's guns. What I could figure out from letters I received from them included : 1. Certain guns that were/are on the C&R list were "petitioned" to be on the List by efforts of some collectors and possibly dealers. 2. The swiss-grip strap models and the commemoratives are on the List because someone made a good case that these guns were historically significant to collectors...versus just some "modern-day" made gun...like the S/S Luger from Aimco out of Texas. 3. The others not on the List were never inquired about/petitioned... |
