How does it work.... need pre-registration? Pay & pick up on site, or just put a number there and go home, waiting for their bill and close the transaction later? Any sales tax included? 15% premium? Any downpayment before bidding?

this is a very well known auctioneer, most of your questions are "yes".
You preregister, and give them your high amount bid, and/or some auctions you can call in the day of the auction and bid live. I moved the thread to here, as its not exactly a "for sale" item. Also, there are 2 or 3 threads so far on this forum on Doug Smiths part of the auction and a small portion of his collection being sold. Ed |

Thanks. I tried "Absentee Bidding" in the past (not this auctioneer) and found I won nothing (probably good news). Too far away, but the previewing session could be interesting. Struggling.
