Hi Everyone,

A friend loaned me this pistol to take pictures of. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

First, let me komliment your pictures, very well done!

As to the Luger. It's a very nice Mauser produced pistol! Looks fantastic..
Bakelite grips is correct for this gun (post t-block), but the grips looks bogus to me..

Leon, I picked one up this past weekend that I was mighty proud of 'til I saw what you posted. Just a super example. I can't imagine a better one.

Hi Morgan,

Thanks for the reply. I agree the grips are very questionable.

Hi George,

Did you look at the "Comparison Pictures" on my web site? What do you think of the waffenamts and the firing proofs?

Regards, Leon

Leon, I did a quick comparison with my recent p/u sn 7923u. I guess you may have a redone barrel at least. The proof eagle on the barrel is very suspect now that I look carefully at the three of them. The prrof on the receiver may also be a question...

I better stick to my Imperial armies.

Hi alvin,

I'm not sure of your question but "Bill" (whoever that is) is not the present owner.

Very nice byf!

George, interesting that you just got a 41 byf SN 7923u since mine is 7345u. Pretty close, almost littermates!
