Exclamation Questions

All
I have a 41 byf Luger Serial 535 with numerous eagle markings, I'm new so can someone tell me if the black grips should also be marked 535 somewhere? Also I need a mag that matches but have no idea to find out what mag should match or grip tool? Any help would be great.

Hello NZItaly, WELCOME to the LUGER FORUM!! it's difficult to answer your question without more information. If you could provide some pictures of your Luger, including the full serial number on the front of the frame it would be helpful!

I've posted a few pictures under WWII Lugers if you want to search my postings 535 is entire serial number with a lower case y in script under the 535. Its a full numbers matching byf 41 model. Any help would be wonderful and if there is a perticular view of the Luger that would help I could snap a couple of more pics

Andy,
An unnumbered black plastic bottom fxo magazine would be correct for your 41byf. The y block was late in 1941 and Mauser had stopped issuing numbered aluminum bottoms about that time.

Frank,

Where did you find the info you provided? I'm trying to get smart on the history of Luger and can you recommend a good source?

Andy

Andy, the information I can provide is the approximate production based on the serial number of your pistol based on a uniform production. This is only an estimate, but I'm pretty sure I'm whithin a month or so!
