Click "Go Advanced". Then scroll down and click "Manage Attachments".

pict insert
Ron .....
Thanx for reply, and showing me the windows and locations. What's the mechanism for getting pictures from my desktop, which I've saved as shortcuts, to those locations ? Charlie. |

Charlie,
You will need to save the pictures as files, such as in "My Pictures" or My Documents" before you can upload them, to the best of my knowledge. I don't believe a "shortcut" will transfer other than posting them as a "URL" or "Link". Ron

Ron....
Got it. I hope that someday all the terminology of the various sites, software, downloading vehicles, etc. will be standardized."Manage attachments".....rather vague. Thanx for your help. |

Yup Ron, it's easy now to post pictures on John's Forum. I hope you don't mind a few Navy pics here...just a test!

Doc,
Sorry , we can't allow any photos of Navy lugers. It degrades the forum.

When you use "Quick Reply", in order to post what you have written you have to click on the "Post Quick Reply" right under the text window. If you look right beside that button you will see "Go Advanced". When you click that button instead of the "Post Quick Reply" button it pops up a new window with the same controls as the "Add Reply" button.
I know lots of folks use the "Quick Reply" feature, but for my money it would be a lot less confusing to just have the "Add Reply" function so that there would be only one way to post replies.
