Nice going, George! It is displayed under the (Rare and Unusual-Not for Sale) section of the website. I am glad that this piece of history surfaced and is 'out of the closet' so to speak. Now that it is getting some exposure I am sure that more will be revealed about it. I wonder how many other significant historic Lugers are in 'Aunt Minnies' hope chest waiting to see the light of day. It is amazing how some of the more advanced collectors are so quick to think that all of the Luger variations have surfaced. There are still warehouses in Europe with Lugers in them that are leftovers from WWII.

George, very nice write up by Bob, you know he lives where I do, I have seen him at a few gun shows and he always has great display, maybe he will show this one off, but it probably would be safer not at that show. He did a GREAT write up on his site! I am thrilled your gun went to a serious collector! We need to preserve those great treasures like your Persian Presentation Luger. Did anyone ever translate the FARSI inscription? I would dearly love to know what it means! Thanks for sharing this fantastic Luger, it is just super! ~~Thor~~
