Default Minty Collection for Sale

Just walked into my favorite Militaria place here in Naples, Florida and saw 6-7 Minty lugers some vet had consigned. Among them a complete Artillery rig with pig skin holster, a trommel mag, a Navy, (all matching including magazine) with correct holster, cleaning rod and tool, a K date, a BYF and 2-3 more I could not get a good look at.
All were museum quality. Almost perfect in general.

I did not ask prices but its amazing what is coming out of the woodwork...s

Hi Doug,

I would be very interested in buying the Lugers, especially the K-Date which I specialize in collecting.

Any help in contacting the seller or the military place would be appreciated.

Please private email me at :

Thank you,

Bob

Just another example of a vet meeting his maker. His family probably has no idea of what he had and is just trying to unload the stuff. I'm sure it will end up in good hands when our Forum members discover where the gunshop is. Hope to see some photos in the near furure!

This is correct. Homer is one of the premier collectors of Militaria in the country. Want to see a hat worn by Eisenhower? McArthur? Patton's tank helmet? Homer has amazing stuff.
The vet who is consigning this collection is very much alive and simply selling off for reasons unkown. Judging from the quality and condition of the collection he knows very well what he has and I doubt there will be any serious bargains, although I think fair prices will be obtained.
Good luck to all interested.
