Default Tinkering around Saudi

Forgive if this is duplicate post.

Just wanted to remind anyone that doesn't know:

Ed Tinker is working in Saudi Arabia. I'm reading that the unrest has or may be reaching that country.

Ed: Watch your back. We're thinking about you.

Clark

PS: if looting starts, please grab me a Persian Artillery.

Clark, Ed went to a safer place. He's scouring all of Bagdad for the elusive Borchardt pistol that was reported there

Clark,
Tinker(bell)
< Ed, if I didn't love you, I would not pick on you>, has moved up the road. I pray that it is safer, however we have to take each sunrise as blessing.

Ed, thank again for your service. Get home soon. Pensyltuckey and the rest of us need you..

thanks guys, I know my 'travels' have been jumpy, went to Saudi to pay off bills and they didn't pay enough (was there 8 months), no jobs in the USA that I desired although I was looking and applying (at X-mas i went home for leave and interviewed for a position in WA state where I grew up, was #1 on the list and they suddenly had a hiring freeze); so I was offered a position as a IT/Comms working with the CivPol (teaching civilian police tactics to Iraqi's).

Its not unsafe, but no action (thank goodness), but the unrest has caused us to not drive around several days at a time.

So, I am SE of Baghdad and enjoy working with troops again (retired 20 yrs army), my son, please pray for him and his soldiers, is a seasoned, combat (two tours) Sergeant, just making it to Afghanistan as of this week, so Dad is in iraq, son is in Afghan, wife is at home wondering what the heck....

Ed:

Wow. Baghdad. We appreciate yours and your sons service and your wife's sacrifice at home. We'll be praying for you all.
